AND THAT'S MY STORY: GROUND ZERO
I have been intrigued to find out more about the creators behind projects that I have been fortunate enough to see and/ or hear for a long time now, especially those involved in making films and TV shows - I know, that statement completely shocked you. So, I have decided to do something about it. And That's My Story is a series I will be running on this blog, for as long as I can find people to interview, that will share with you a bit about the creators themselves and their journey towards fulfilling their dreams.

Now, I cannot comfortably call myself a creator as such but I thought I'd give this series a test run and share a little bit about myself. A few months ago I was tagged by the lovely Reni from Lilac Tinted Views to take part in the "About Me" tag (see her entry here) and never got round to doing it. I think now is a good a time as any to finally answer the questions that reveal a little bit more about me.

ARE YOU NAMED AFTER SOMEONE?
No, I am not. My name is Morayo (pronounced: Moh-Rah-Yaw) but you will often find my sister and a few others calling me Motirayo. I don't know why but that's not my name - cue The Tings Tings backing me up.
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED?
Yesterday. I was watching an episode of Chicago P.D., a spin off of the show Chicago Fire, and it got me all blubbery. To be fair I am a bit over emotional. I just saw this year's John Lewis' advert and that definitely made me all teary eyed.
DO YOU HAVE ANY CHILDREN?
Not at this point in time in this universe. Maybe in a parallel one? I do want kids though.
IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE A FRIEND OF YOURSELF?
Haha yes!
DO YOU HAVE ANY GUILTY PLEASURES?
Too many. I sure this one comes as no surprise but I love to just sit on the sofa, covered by my blanket with a cuppa in one hand and a packet of custard creams nearby, watching the TV show I am currently obsessed with.
DO YOU LIKE HANDWRITING?
I love writing by hand. I write most of the drafts of my short stories in one of many notebooks and then type it up later. My handwriting is not particularly great but it's legible haha. I also love receiving and writing letters and cards. Handwriting says quite a bit about a person and I love trying to learn more about a person by studying their handwriting. Is that weird?
WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE CEREAL?
Hm... at the moment I love Jordan's raisin & almond granola. If I were to consult my inner child it would definitely be a toss up between Crunchy Nut and Cheerios but as I add waay too much sugar I can't have it too often. Yes, you read right. I add sugar to a bowl of Crunchy Nut or Cheerios... :/
WHAT'S THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE?
The level of warmth I get from them? I am sure there is a better way to say that. Um.. how approachable they seem to be? Yeah, that will do haha. That is the first thing I notice.
WHAT IS THE COLOUR OF YOUR EYES?
Dark brown.
SCARY MOVIES OR HAPPY ENDINGS?
Films whose main purpose is to frighten me and/ or make me jump a mile high will never be ones I'd willingly watch. I definitely prefer happy endings!
FAVOURITE TV SHOW?
Pass. I can do that right? Look, I watch way too many and I love most of them for different reasons.
WINTER OR SUMMER?
Winter! Give me coats, bowls of soup, scarves, snow, woolly socks, onsies and the perfect excuse to stay at home, read a book, watch a ton of films and warm the flat by baking delicious sweet treats any day.

I was born in England, UK.
HOBBIES?
I love reading books, watching films & TV shows, writing stories, blogging, baking and learning more about photography & filmmaking.
DO YOU HAVE ANY PETS?
No, I do not. I really want a dog and a cat though...One day.
FAVOURITE MOVIE(S)?
Oooo... um... Okay, I am gonna name the 1st 5 that come to mind as there are quite a few: Becoming Jane, The Proposal, Tangled, The Amazing Spider-Man and Sense & Sensibility (can that be both the '95 and '08 adaptations?).
WHAT COLOUR IS YOUR CAR?
Greeeeeen.
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GROW UP?
Ultimately, I want to be utterly content. I want to be hopeful, a dreamer, a daughter whose parents' are proud of her, a sister who will be there for her siblings, a good friend that is dependable, a published author, a wife, a mother, a girl chasing after God's own heart and a girl who is able to spread joy wherever she goes. I want to be many things but yes, ultimately I want to be content...
And that's my story. Or at least some of it haha.
