HAPPY NEW YEAR

Happy New Year everyone! I know some of us may be more than glad that 2015 is firmly behind us whilst others had a fairly good year, however, we are all here today and for that I am grateful. We have a chance everyday to grab life by the balls and climb up when it seems like life is only trying to drag us down so, let's dust off the grievances of the past, whilst honouring what we learnt from them, and move forward. I read Sophie's 'What's Your Word of the Year' post and Megan's 'A Year of Growth' post this morning and they got me thinking of what my intention for this year is. And looking at my goals for my 25th year on this planet I think the common thread in all of them is to humble myself and Learn

I have a habit of sprouting all things I want to know and have to know and don't know at a remarkable speed but if I am being honest, I have never made the time to actually learn these things I would love to. So this year, I am going to own the gaps in my knowledge and try to consistently fill them in at my own pace. I am still mapping out my timetable, trying to allocate my plans in realistic time slots, but I am having a blast doing so. My intention is to no longer be ok with coasting through life and watch others live theirs and for me, that means I must humble myself, get my hands dirty and eyes bleary and just learn. I hope your year has started off alright so far and would love to hear how you plan to spend 2016.
