THE FIRST TIME
This is one of the best teen rom-coms I have seen in a while. I absolutely loved it. I laughed. I cried (tears of laughter mostly). I cringed. I paused the movie several times because I couldn't handle the awkwardness. I thought it was brilliant and funny and...educational lol.
Obviously guys, you should know by now that I am not going to tell you what it is about. You may be jumping to conclusions as to what the movie is about already but I can tell you that it is about so much more than what is in your head right now.
Dylan O'Brien was amazing in this. He plays the character Dave Hodgeman, a quirky, shy, and sensitive high school senior who is about to embark on the journey that comes after high school. Dylan brings the same energy and comedic genius to the screen as he does is Teen Wolf.
Britt Robertson, on the other hand, plays the slightly misunderstood artistic high school juinor, Aubrey Miller. Britt did an amazing job me thinks. I could be biased as I do love all the shows (Secret Circle, Life Unexpected) she's been in that I have watched. Her lines and delivery was awesome and very entertaining.
If you do have a spare moment in your day and you are looking for something to do that will last about 1 hr and 30 mins, give this a try. I have watched it twice in the space of a week... because I'm awesome like that lol.
